The A Z A LAB Re-Sharpening Machines (Models AZA 1197 and AZA 1198) are engineered for precision re-sharpening of drill bits to extend their life and improve cutting efficiency. These machines ensure accurate grinding and are built for both HSS and carbide drills with suitable grinding wheels. With an easy-to-use design, they provide users with the ability to re-sharpen drills with different diameters and point angles, improving productivity and reducing downtime.
Usage Instructions:
- Select the material of the drill and choose the appropriate grinding wheel (CBN or SD).
- Adjust the left scale annulus to the “0” position for proper alignment.
- Insert the suitable collet into the holder at a 45-degree angle.
- Set the drill in the collet holder without tightening initially, leaving room for adjustments.
- Adjust the left scale to match the diameter of the drill.
- Insert the collet holder with the drill into the left hole, turn right, and set up.
- Tighten the drill in the collet holder to fix the grinding position.
- Complete the sharpening process and remove the chuck.
- Versatile Grinding Capability: Supports grinding of both HSS and carbide drills with appropriate grinding wheels (CBN wheel for HSS drills and SD wheel for carbide drills).
