It accurately determines the flash point of liquids with viscosities below 5.5 cSt at 40°C (104°F) or below 9.5 cSt at 25°C (77°F), and flash points below 93°C (200°F), excluding cut-back asphalts, liquids forming surface films, or those containing suspended solids.
